As a rule, more complex projects are processed in a matrix organisation. The matrix organisation is put together from different components from the company divisions to suit the needs of the project. These divisions are:

• Operation Management,
• Drilling Services,
• Engineering and
• Finance and Administration.

The connection between the five divisions ensures both safe, smooth and effective processing of projects from the tendering phase right through to handover of finished plants. At the same time, it also guarantees that all the relevant technical and organisational information is available at the interfaces throughout the entire project management process.

The UGS GmbH divisions have been organised to meet market requirements and serve all the technical and organisational areas of the underground storage industry through their performance-related division. This means that, if necessary, provision of all services, as well as subcontractor services, for the production and operation of underground storage facilities can be provided from a single source.
