Plug and Abandonment
After the end of production and negative post-use analysis, most wells are due for final decommissioning and storage. As a rule, the old completion must be removed, and an integral condition inside and outside the well must be created. This may require milling work, subsequent re-cementating, cut and pull operation, washover and many other activities. Before P&A finalization, well integrity must be proven in order to prevent migration paths. We have been successfully supporting this work at countless locations for many decades. The spectrum ranges from single wells to the complete dismantling of entire sites with more than 30 wells and a correspondingly large number of drilling locations and above-ground installations (e. g. pipelines and compressor systems, office buildings).
