Privatised in 1991, UGS GmbH, based just outside Berlin in Mittenwalde, is now one of the market leaders. Many years of experience in the planning, construction, and operation of underground storage facilities coupled with numerous process engineering innovations have led to rapid adaptation to the new economic conditions.
