New high-sophisticated draw works, UGS Rig T-12

UGS A COMPANY OF GEOSTOCK realized a successfully overhaul at the Rig T-12 with a modern band disc brake system, which noise emissions reduces dramatically to meet today’s environmental requirements. Furthermore two independent working brake systems ensures now that one malfunction will not lead to an unsafe or critical situation. The new implementation of a dead man switch ensures an immediate stop of the system when losing the handle/joystick.

The new electrical crown saver and additional drill floor saver increases the rig safety aspects additionally. With the achieved very sensitive drive control, short reaction time of the draw works and the constant speed control system the rig is now at high end performance.
