UGS GmbH has been continuously running a quality assurance system that is certified under ISO 9001 since November 1996.
The quality management system is documented in an Integrated Management Manual specific to UGS which is equally binding for all UGS employees. This Manual is periodically updated and forms the basis for carrying out audit and certification procedures. It is supplemented by a number of specific guidelines and instructions concerning processes and work procedures.
The quality of goods and services provided by subcontractors is regulated in the Management Manual and in the UGS General Purchasing Conditions. These regulations cover the entire range of activities from the initial purchase order to the assembly of goods on the construction site.
The Quality Management Manual also contains regulations concerning the correct handling of equipment and goods which have been purchased and made available by the customer.
