Our Company Profile

Untergrundspeicher- und Geotechnologie-Systeme GmbH (UGS) is an engineering and service company that specialises in the exploration, design, construction and operation of underground storage facilities for gaseous and liquid products and - if required - can also deal with their closure and dismantling. We have the competence and equipment necessary to carry out a comprehensive range of services in the field of underground storage, ranging from initial investigations to the commissioning of turnkey plants.





We have over 40 years experience in the construction and operation of underground storage facilities and in related fields including geological sciences and subsurface technology. We have a fully qualified workforce, our own drilling and workover rigs and we also own and manage the operation of several first-gas-filling plants and leaching stations.

Our comprehensive know-how, along with our constant striving to increase efficiency and to co-operate with our customers in a reliable, dependable way makes it possible for us to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions which are tailor-made to our clients' particular requirements.
